$15k Grants for Regional Speech Pathology & OT Graduates

$15k Grants for Regional Speech Pathology & OT Graduates

28 Oct 2025

This is the third and final round of the Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy Grants Program, targeting 2025 graduates who plan to start work in regional or rural areas from 2024 to 2026. Over 400 grants are available to both domestic and international students.

Successful applicants receive two payments of $7,500:

  • The first instalment supports relocation and settling into a new community.

  • The second instalment is paid after six months if the graduate remains employed in a regional, rural health, or education setting.

The program is part of the Victorian Government’s broader effort to strengthen allied health services in regional and rural areas, helping to improve access to care for communities outside major cities. It complements other initiatives, such as the Universal and Enhanced Maternal and Child Health programs and Early Parenting Centres, which support families and children across Victoria.

Applications for this round close on 24 February 2026. Eligible students and graduates are encouraged to review the full eligibility criteria and apply via the Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy Student Grant Program on the Victorian Government website.
