About the project
The Department of Health is committed to improving the health of Aboriginal people in Tasmania. One of the focus areas of the Improving Aboriginal Cultural Respect Across Tasmania's Health Systems Action Plan 2020 - 2026 is 'Communication and Cultural Visibility'.
Oral Health Services Tasmania, Statewide Mental Health Services and Community, Mental Health and Wellbeing are coming together to purchase three pieces of Tasmanian Aboriginal Artwork. The artwork will be displayed in health settings across Tasmania and used to develop templates for business use.
A selection panel of Tasmanian Aboriginal community members will review all artwork ideas and make recommendations.

Share your ideas for paintings, drawings or photographs, displaying Tasmanian Aboriginal images and symbolism.
