Take part in research to improve our online services
28 Mar 2024
We’re working on a digital project to give you better access to information and support that is tailored to your personal preferences and experiences of breast cancer.
Last year we made changes to our website to make it easier to find what you need, when you need it. This work – including a refreshed website design and the new ‘Information and Resources Hub’ – was in response to feedback from people across our network.
This year, we’re planning to introduce and improve more features, so we’d like to invite your participation again.
Who we’re looking for
For this stage of the project, we are looking for people who:
- have a diagnosis of breast cancer – current or past
- are family members, friends or carers of people with a breast cancer diagnosis
- may be at higher risk of breast cancer due to family history or genetics.
You don’t need to be technical or a website expert but you do need internet access and a laptop/desktop computer (some activities can be done on a mobile).
What to do if you’re interested
If you’d like to be considered for an activity, please complete the ‘expression of interest’ form. You can select as many activities as you like.
We will only use this form to contact you about the research you are interested in, and you can change your mind about taking part at any time.
We’ll confirm we’ve received your details, and once we have the exact dates we’ll be in touch to check if you’re still available to take part.
About the activities we’re running
Between early April and June, we are running a range of activities to gather feedback and preferences on the services we provide (or are planning to introduce). This covers My Journey and the Symptom Tracker, the Online Network and parts of the website.
The activities range from short and simple surveys to one-on-one interviews or small group workshops. Details about each activity are provided on the expression of interest form.
- All activities will be run online (mostly via Zoom) so we can include website users from around Australia.
- If the activity is being recorded, we’ll ask you to complete a consent form beforehand.
- All responses are made anonymous when we analyse and report on the results.
