SWSPHN Offers Free Advanced Mental Health Training for GPs and GP Registrars

The course will be delivered by the Black Dog Institute at Warwick Farm over two consecutive Saturdays in May 2026 (dates to be confirmed). The training is valued at $1,279, but SWSPHN will cover the full cost for participants.
Participants who complete the course will be able to use the relevant Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) item numbers, including 2715, 2717, 2721, 2723, 2725, and 2727, to support mental health consultations.

A $200 refundable deposit is required to secure a place. The deposit will be returned after attendance.

Deposits will be forfeited if a participant cancels less than a month before the course or does not attend.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Late registrations cannot be accepted.
Prerequisite: Participants must have completed Level 1 Mental Health Skills Training before enrolling in Level 2 FPS.
Expressions of Interest (EOI) must be submitted by Friday, 31 January 2026.
