SWSPHN Celebrates International Women’s Day at Fairfield
17 Mar 2026
Our team hosted a stall and spoke with attendees about SWSPHN’s role and the services we commission.
International Women’s Day, observed globally on 8 March, celebrates women while raising awareness about discrimination and promoting gender equality. This year’s theme, ‘Give to Gain’, encouraged generosity and collaboration to create more opportunities and support for women.
The event, hosted by the Fairfield Women’s Health Centre, offered a fun and engaging program. Women enjoyed Zumba dancing, games with prizes, gifts from BreastScreen NSW, and learning from local and health information stalls. The day gave attendees a chance to connect with the community and discover available support services.
