SafeSide suicide prevention training coming to Western Australia

The Mental Health Commission is providing $3.3 million to SafeSide Prevention to help enhance suicide prevention through workforce training across Western Australia.
The training will further support those working in mental health, alcohol and other drugs and youth services to help staff respond to suicide.
SafeSide Prevention is an international organisation that aims to support government, healthcare and community oranisations define and achieve their suicide prevention goals through a suite of programs that aim to promote a workforce ready to support people at risk.
