Royal Hobart Hospital doctors-in-training recognised with prestigious awards
23 Jan 2024
The awards are given each year to acknowledge the skill, commitment and growth of doctors-in-training over the last 12 months.
The winners are:
- Intern of the Year – Dr Chris Alexander
- Resident Medical Officer of the Year – Dr Victoria Murton
- Registrar of the Year – Dr Clare Rayner
The awards are nominated and voted for by medical, nursing and allied health professionals from across the hospital.
Voting is based on a doctor’s all-round performance, including communication skills, clinical judgement and skills, and relationships with staff, patients and relatives.
This month, new interns have started across Tasmania and doctors-in-training with more than one year experience have moved onto their next rotations to continue their training journey.
