Pregnancy and Early Childhood Remembrance Service 2025

It provides a space for parents, families, and individuals to acknowledge their grief and pay tribute to these precious lives.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, 15 October 2025, at 11:00 am in the Royal Hobart Hospital Chapel, Level 1, C Block. The service will include readings, music, and a period of silence for personal reflection.

Attending Online
The service can be viewed live via computer, mobile app, or mobile device.

  • PC users: Select “watch on the web instead” to view directly in your browser.

  • Mobile users: Download the Microsoft Teams app if needed. Devices with Teams installed will open automatically.

  • Joining anonymously: If prompted, select “join anonymously” to access the live stream without signing in.

  • Interaction: Cameras and microphones are disabled during the event. You may use the Q&A or chat section for questions or comments.

Before the Service

  • The live stream will open at 10:55 am, five minutes before the service begins.

  • Test your connection ahead of time to ensure you can access the event.

  • You may wish to have a candle ready in a safe space to light during the service.

Recording and Access
The service will be recorded. A copy can be requested on a USB memory stick by calling 6166 8846.
