Peacock Centre Residential Unit to Reopen Partially Following Rodent-Related Repairs

An occupational hygienist has inspected the facility, and repairs to damaged ceilings, wall plaster, and some electrical infrastructure are underway. An operational review confirmed that the works will allow partial admissions next week.
The Peacock Centre remains fully operational, with services including the Safe Haven, Recovery College, and the Mental Health Integration Hub continuing as usual. Alternative residential support options remain available for consumers while repair work is completed.
Authorities emphasised that consumer and staff safety is the top priority, and support services
