PBS Broadens Nivolumab and Ipilimumab Access from 1 March 2026

The broad PBS listing will replace existing item codes for:
-
Unresectable Stage III or Stage IV melanoma
-
Locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC
-
Stage IV clear cell renal cell carcinoma
-
Recurrent or metastatic squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity, pharynx, or larynx
-
Advanced or metastatic gastro-oesophageal cancers
-
Unresectable or metastatic urothelial carcinoma
Current PBS items without ‘Supply Only’ arrangements will be removed, and prescriptions for affected indications must be rewritten after 1 March to ensure subsidy and dispensing.
