Participate in a menu and mealtime review
14 May 2025
Residential aged care providers can express interest in receiving a free, onsite menu and mealtime review from an accredited practising dietitian. The review will help you get ready for the new Aged Care Quality Standard 6: Food and nutrition, starting 1 July. Express interest by 9 June.
The Menu and Mealtime Review program will deliver up to 500 reviews to help aged care providers:
- improve the food and dining experience for residents
- meet the new strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, which start on 1 July.
The program will prioritise:
- services from rural, remote and very remote communities
- National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flexible Aged Care Program providers
- smaller services with 60 or less residents
- services with low scores on the Residents’ Experience Survey question ‘do you like the food here?’
- small and medium providers with no more than 10 services.
Expressions of interest close 9 June.
