The awards highlight achievements ranging from 3D bioprinting skin for burns patients to specialised mental health programs supporting farmers. This is the 27th year of the awards, which recognise the excellence delivered across the NSW public health system every day.

NSW Health Secretary Susan Pearce AM praised the finalists and their colleagues.

“The NSW Health Awards recognise the great work our staff do every day to improve the lives of patients and the communities they serve,” she said.

“The people, teams, and programs nominated this year are of a very high standard and demonstrate our ongoing commitment to world-class healthcare. I congratulate all finalists and also want to acknowledge the exceptional work being done every day by our doctors, nurses, midwives, allied health, and support staff.”

Award categories include the Health Equity Award, Keeping People Healthy Award, Transforming Patient Experience Award, Health Innovation Award, and the Volunteer of the Year Award, which recognises community members who support patients, carers, families, and staff.

The 41 finalists will be celebrated at the awards ceremony on Thursday, 30 October 2025 at the International Convention Centre in Sydney. The event will also be livestreamed on the NSW Health website.
