New Medicare Urgent Care Clinic opens in Bridgewater

Operated by Your Hobart Doctor trading as Jordan River Health, the Medicare UCC will open 7 days per week from 10am to 8pm to provide patients with urgent medical treatment, without the need for an appointment.
It joins four existing Tasmanian clinics in Hobart (Liverpool Street and Bathurst Street), Devonport and Launceston, which have seen more than 50,000 patients in their first year of operation.
The Bridgewater UCC will reduce pressure on the Royal Hobart Hospital and make it easier for people to see a doctor or nurse when urgent, but non-life-threatening care is required.
It is located at 9-11 Hurst Street, Bridgewater.
