SWSPHN Acting CEO Amy Prince highlighted the growing need for mental health services in the region, with nearly 20% of the population likely experiencing mental illness in the 12 months to June 2024.

Grand Pacific Health CEO Adam Philips said the new centre provides integrated, wrap-around care and is the fifth Medicare Mental Health Centre his organisation has launched. The Campbelltown site complements the existing Liverpool Medicare Mental Health Centre, which supported over 800 people in the last financial year.
