Launceston General Hospital Rehabilitation Ward Temporarily Relocated

To safely complete this work, the Rehabilitation Unit, Ward 3R, has been temporarily relocated.
From Wednesday 15 October 2025, Ward 3R is operating at:
Level 4, Calvary St Luke’s Hospital, 24 Lyttleton Street, Launceston — just under a 5-minute drive from LGH.
Key information for patients and visitors:

The ward is now called ‘LGH Ward 3R at Calvary St Luke’s Hospital’.

Visiting hours remain unchanged: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm, seven days a week.

Parking: Available onsite and on surrounding streets; some areas on Lyttleton Street have restrictions. More details on access and parking are available on the Calvary St Luke’s website.
The temporary move ensures construction can continue safely while minimising disruption and maintaining continuity of care. The relocation will remain until the upgrade is complete.
