Hospitals North staff recognised for long service

Those honoured achieved 25 years' continuous service, having started their careers in the Tasmanian health system in 1999.

On the recipient list were doctors, nurses, pathologists, ward aides, radiation therapists, administrators and social workers.

Their areas of work spanned Hospitals North facilities across the region including St Marys District Hospital.

Not all were able to attend the award presentation.

Chief Executive Fiona Lieutier congratulated the staff on their milestone achievement.

She said they exemplified the service’s values of compassion, accountability, respect and excellence.

Recipients were presented with a certificate and a Tasmanian timber box.
