Fairfield Health Groups Renew Partnership to Strengthen Community Wellbeing

05 Jan 2026

This renewed alliance combines previous programs into a single framework, now called the Fairfield City Health Partnership & Alliance (FCHP&A). Its focus is on improving community health through promoting healthy lifestyles, creating supportive local environments, and ensuring fair access to medical services.

Fairfield City Council General Manager Bradley Cutts said the partnership provides a strong foundation to address the community’s key health challenges. “Bringing our efforts together allows us to deliver more effective programs and reach more people,” he said.

SWSLHD Chief Executive Sonia Marshall highlighted the benefits of working with local partners to improve social and environmental conditions that influence health. SWSPHN Acting CEO Amy Prince said the new arrangement will prioritise preventive care and equitable access to health services.

The agreement follows decades of joint initiatives that have encouraged healthy living, prevented chronic illness, and strengthened community wellbeing. The renewed partnership ensures these programs will continue to evolve to meet the changing needs of Fairfield residents.
