Cranbourne Community Hospital Officially Opens, Bringing Care Closer to Home
11 Oct 2025
The hospital is operated by Monash Health and is designed to deliver care closer to home in a modern, purpose-built facility.
Community hospitals are small public hospitals that:
-
Provide a range of health services.
-
Enable people to manage their health needs locally.
-
Reduce pressure on larger hospitals across Victoria.
The new hospital replaces the old Cranbourne Integrated Care Centre, with services now available in the modern facility, including:
-
Dialysis
-
Pharmacy
-
Pathology
-
Adult mental health services
Additional services will be available in the coming weeks, including:
-
Aged care
-
Child, youth, and family services
-
Early-in-life mental health services
-
Dental, audiology, and ophthalmology
Residents can access hospital services through a referral from their GP or healthcare provider. The hospital has been designed to expand services as the local population grows.
