Cranbourne Community Hospital Officially Opens, Bringing Care Closer to Home

11 Oct 2025

The hospital is operated by Monash Health and is designed to deliver care closer to home in a modern, purpose-built facility.

Community hospitals are small public hospitals that:

  • Provide a range of health services.

  • Enable people to manage their health needs locally.

  • Reduce pressure on larger hospitals across Victoria.

The new hospital replaces the old Cranbourne Integrated Care Centre, with services now available in the modern facility, including:

  • Dialysis

  • Pharmacy

  • Pathology

  • Adult mental health services

Additional services will be available in the coming weeks, including:

  • Aged care

  • Child, youth, and family services

  • Early-in-life mental health services

  • Dental, audiology, and ophthalmology

Residents can access hospital services through a referral from their GP or healthcare provider. The hospital has been designed to expand services as the local population grows.
