For the uninitiated, schematic design is a draft construction concept that offers an overview of a project's basic features and construction cost estimates. Detailed design develops the approved conceptual design into a precise physical plan of all parts of the structure and how they fit together.
From a community engagement perspective, Gold Coast Health has made strides to build connections with local educational facilities, businesses and environmental groups in this greenfield location.
Forging meaningful connections with local First Nations representatives has been a key focus, with the project team recently hosting a ‘Walk on Country’ with local Elder John Graham.
