Community Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (ICAMHS) has opened in the South West

09 Jul 2024

This service was developed in consultation with those with lived experience, clinicians, and the local community. It's designed to be a central point of contact for all children and adolescents in need of mental health support in the region.

With a multidisciplinary team, ICAMHS offers flexible, integrated care through face-to-face clinics, telehealth, and community outreach, and access to peer support workers and specialist Aboriginal Mental Health Workers.

We're proud to collaborate with organisations like Headspace, Youth Focus, Perth Children's Hospital, and Fiona Stanley Hospital to ensure comprehensive care for our youth. This initiative marks a significant step forward in transforming mental health services for children and adolescents in Western Australia.
