Celebrating Allied Health Professionals Across Tasmania
14 Oct 2025
This year’s Allied Health Professionals Day theme, “Stronger Together”, highlights the value of multidisciplinary, team-based care in creating a responsive and inclusive healthcare system.
For Alicia, a social worker in the Department of Health, the most rewarding part of her role is:
“Working together to build support networks and show people they're not alone is the best part of my job.”
She values the variety in her work, from face-to-face case management to strategic leadership, and enjoys learning from clients, colleagues, and other services.
“Technology can enhance services, and sharing ideas across the Department ensures we make the greatest impact for our patients,” Alicia said.
Today, we celebrate the dedication and expertise of Tasmania’s allied health workforce and their vital role in supporting patients and communities across the state.
