Breast Screening Services in South Western Sydney

A screening mammogram is an x-ray of the breasts and is recommended every two years. Free breast screening is available through BreastScreen NSW.
Who should have a breast screen?
You are encouraged to have a free breast screen if you are:

Aged 50–74 (every two years)

Aboriginal women aged 40–74 (every two years)
-
Aged 40–49 and have discussed screening with your GP
How to get a breast screen
BreastScreen NSW provides free mammograms at a range of locations, including:

Bankstown: Bankstown Civic Tower, Ground Floor, 66–72 Rickard Road (entrance via Jacobs Street)
