Have Your Say on the Future of Nursing and Midwifery in Tasmania

The Tasmanian Government is inviting feedback on Midwifery Matters – Tasmanian Midwifery Workforce Strategy. Everyone in the community is welcome to participate, especially those connected with midwifery. Your input will help shape Tasmania’s health care system now and into the future.

About Midwifery Matters
Midwives play a vital role in Tasmania’s maternity system, supporting women through a variety of services and care models. The Strategy includes 20 actions aimed at creating a woman-centred, sustainable midwifery workforce that works closely with women and families. Its focus is on safe, evidence-based, equitable, and valued care.

The Strategy is a commitment to listening, acting, and improving Tasmania’s maternity system.
