AMA Medical Practice Committee meets for 2025

The Medical Practice Committee (MPC) gathered in-person at the National AMA Offices in Canberra for its first meeting of 2025.
Positive and engaging discussion was conducted around a number of priority policy areas for the AMA, including management of medicine shortages, artificial intelligence, National Law reform, scope of practice and medicines prescribing.
The MPC has diverse representation from a variety of specialisations, contributing in-depth clinical insight and health sector experience towards AMA advocacy to improve our health system.
